Pellegrini Combat Hapkido is a dynamic and eclectic Korean
martial art (“Hapkido” translating as "the way of coordinated
power”) which teaches effective self defense and as such employs
joint locks, pressure points, trapping, throws, kicks and other
strikes. For this reason, it is a great martial art for law
enforcement or anyone interested in “street safety.” Although
Combat Hapkido contains both long-range fighting and infighting
techniques, the end of most situations is to get near for a close
strike, lock, or throw. Practitioners seek to gain advantage
through footwork and body positioning to employ leverage, avoiding
the use of strength against strength.
Combat Hapkido also teaches
weapons fighting and basic grappling. For more information on
Combat Hapkido please visit
